Brown Bag Brass Band is one of Central Florida's hottest live acts and have been dubbed, by themselves, "Orlando's official party band." What started as a pickup band covering a last minute Mardi Gras gig, soon began delivering a horn-driven tour de force, serving the region and beyond. Since then, the b4 have firmly established itself an integral part of the live scene, characterized as loud, fast, high and generally, "Good Time Party Music."

Joe Montelione: Eros: A Concert with Words

Eros tells an intriguing story that examines whether it is possible to learn from hardship or allow moments of tribulation to divert us from our preferred future. Inspired in part by the exciting nature that fuels the culture of live music, the concert weaves acting and instrumental performance in an aurally remarkable world driven by an emotive melodic soundtrack. This performance is an inversion of a typical play with music. This "concert with words" will tell a story through instrumental music with actors reciting a narrative as transitional material between pieces.

Betsayda Machado & Parranda El Clavo – Afro-Venezuelan parranda

Passionate and colorful at the same time, Betsayda Machado is one of the most representative singers in Venezuelan music today. Her mastery on several Afro–Caribbean rhythms and the strength of her voice have made her truly unique. Her magical voice comes from a village named El Clavo, in Barlovento, known to be the most important community of African descent in Venezuela.
Along their high-energy concerts the band has a great repertory of dance workshops and family friendly activities involving live percussion and teaching of distinct Afro-Venezuelan rhythms and is eager to engage in collaborations with other musicians.

It's a youth movement! Come and be inspired by the dazzling young stars of the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra's chamber orchestra and the UCF Flute Studio. Last year these two ensembles co-headlined an evening at Timucua and enjoyed it so much they decided to do it all over again. There's nothing quite like the passion that these young musicians bring to the Timucua stage.

Accidental Music Festival's Marathon AMF celebrates the emergence of Orlando as a hotbed of contemporary classical and creative music on May 12th. Featuring 18 ensembles and soloists performing a day-long concert of music almost exclusively by living composers at the SoDo Shopping Center, the event seeks to highlight the work of new and established groups dedicated to new music. This year there will also be family-friendly events during the day, including acoustic and electronic instrument petting zoos, where kids of all ages can test out instruments and learn about making electronic music.
