Now, this captivating cinematic gem is coming to the United States with a screening at Timucua in Orlando, Florida.

About Manolo Cruz:
“La Ciénaga: Between Sea and Land” (La Ciénaga Entre el Mar y la Tierra) marks the directorial debut of Manolo Cruz, a multi-talented Colombian artist who has made significant contributions as an actor, writer, and producer. At 41 years old, he stands as one of his country’s most seasoned actors, boasting an impressive career spanning an incredible 35 years dedicated to the craft.
His journey in the world of entertainment commenced at the tender age of 6 when he took on a prominent role in the highly successful series “Los Victorinos.” Since then, Manolo has left an indelible mark on the industry, having lent his talents to over 28 theatrical productions and appeared in a remarkable 45 series and telenovelas, including notable works such as “Escobar El Patrón del Mal,” “Sin Tetas no hay Paraíso,” “María Magdalena,” among others.
Manolo Cruz has showcased his acting prowess on the big screen, featuring in 9 national and international feature films, each contributing to his rich and diverse filmography. Some of his notable cinematic contributions include “La Primera Noche,” “La Milagrosa,” “Retratos en un Mar de Mentiras,” and “Talión.” Manolo Cruz’s extensive and varied artistic journey has solidified his place as a prominent figure in the Colombian entertainment industry.
