Li-Cohen Duo

Matthew Cohen, violist of the Formosa Quartet, and Zhenni Li-Cohen, Steinway Artist join forces as the award-winning Li-Cohen duo. In addition to their individual solo and chamber music performances, the husband-and wife duo has performed recitals together in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Boulder, Portland (OR), Helsinki, and Zhuzhou (China); their upcoming duo performances for the 23/24 season include recitals in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and Hilton Head Island. Their program “After a Dream,” features Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Sonata in G minor, Rebecca Clarke’s “Morpheus” (the Greek god of dreams), Gabriel Fauré’s “Après un Reve” (After a Dream), Paul Coletti’s “From my Heart,” and several works by the Ukrainian composer Sergei Bortkiewicz from Ms. Li-Cohen’s new album.
