The Ryan Devlin Quartet are arranging their “Series of Circumstances” US tour for January! Devlin, a saxophonist and Orlando native, had a love for music since a young child due to his father’s influence. He has played in The Florida All State Jazz band, The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and The Orlando Jazz Orchestra. He was also the 2017 winner of the Central Florida Jazz Society Scholarship.
Devlin is joined by well-established NYC bassist Gene Perla, of the Elvin Jones Jazz Machine and has played/recorded with Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughn, and Sonny Rollins; UCF faculty member and pianist Richard Drexler, who has performed with many of the biggest names in jazz. Recently he’s been working with the Jeff Berlin Trio, Woody Herman Orchestra, Kenny Drew Jr. and others; and NYC drummer Adam Nussbaum who has performed with many greats such as Michael & Randy Brecker, Eliane Elias, Gil Evans and Stan Getz.
This quartet is not to be missed and their audiences will be thrilled by their performances!
