Alterity Chamber Orchestra – Divergent Pulsations

Alterity Chamber Orchestra returns for their fifth anniversary concert! Led by internationally renowned conductor and composer Juan Trigos, Alterity presents a program of contemporary works of great beauty and dazzling virtuosity. Featuring the world premiere of the Double Concerto for flute and guitar by composer Alberto Rodríguez Ortiz (Puerto Rico) with soloists Eladio Scharrón (guitar) and Carrie Wiesinger (flute).

Open House: Performing Arts Matter Baroque Chamber Orchestra

The Baroque Chamber Orchestra brings string players from the Maitland Symphony Orchestra together under the direction of Dr. Alvaro Gomez to put the best works of the Baroque period on today’s stage. The Orchestra is the newest musical group of the Performing Arts of Maitland.

It’s a youth movement! Come and be inspired by the dazzling young stars of the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra’s chamber orchestra and the UCF Flute Studio. Last year these two ensembles co-headlined an evening at Timucua and enjoyed it so much they decided to do it all over again. There’s nothing quite like the passion that these young musicians bring to the Timucua stage.
