WordPlay Festival / Theater / Live at Timucua: If you love witnessing experiments of new concepts and innovative new ideas, this is the show for you! A sensational group of Central Florida artists are collaborating to create original short performance pieces that will range all genres and styles. You may see skits, dances, puppetry or painting; Someone may write a slam poem with someone else putting original music behind it and then someone else could turn it into a burlesque number! (Or it may be something else entirely and not like that at all.) You have to come and find out what these artists are up to. This team of artists are a mix of newbies and veterans, writers and choreographers and more, and performers of all kinds! And they are:
Pao Ayala (AKA Carino Pasayo)
Chris Trovador will host (and live paint on stage!)
and Jordan Lewis stage manages the experience!
And the flow of the show is up to you! This show is inspired by the Neo-Futurists TOO MUCH LIGHT MAKES THE BABY GO BLIND and THE INFINITE WRENCH and Fringe Festival Favorite FRUIT FLIES LIKE A BANANA so after each original piece ends, you get to shout out which piece you want to see next. And PS: the title of this show does not lie!
Join us for an hour of off-the-wall originality and creativity!
