Gareth Pearson

Gareth Pearson, known as “The Welsh Tornado,” is a talented acoustic guitarist known for his fingerstyle pyrotechnics and explosive lead runs. He has a unique style that covers various genres, from country to pop to jazz, and has been influenced by musicians such as Chet Atkins and Tommy Emmanuel. Within a year of starting guitar, Pearson was opening for Emmanuel and later toured with artists like Ray Davies and Southside Johnny. He was signed by Candyrat Records and his debut album, “Urban Echoes Vol 1,” was selected as one of the “Essential Acoustic Albums of 2010.” Pearson’s reputation as a performer and teacher continues to grow with international tours and festival appearances.
