World Music / Jazz Series / Live at Timucua: Join us for an Afro Cuban Jazz Concert and tour Cuba’s roots and influences in jazz. Selections will explore a repertoire that covers the most important genres of Cuban music and its fusion with jazz.
Calixto Oviedo is a Latin Grammy nominated artist who regularly performs around the world. Over 38 years, he has played with such legendary bands as NG La Banda, the creators of the new Cuban sound known for tight rhythms and aggressive brass.
