Wahh World Fusion Band

WAHH! World Fusion Band combines Indian and Eastern influences with contemporary styles like rock, jazz, and funk. The band consists of six talented musicians including Kanad Hari on sitar, Elias Tona on bass, Peter Mongaya on guitar, Ona Kirei on vocals, Micheal Washington on drums, and Shankh Lahiri on tablas, percussion, and vocals. The band made its debut in 2009 and has since performed at prestigious venues across the US, including the House of Blues, Rockwood Music Hall, and the Straz Center of Performing Arts. WAHH! has released two CDs, ‘Liberation’ and ‘Brother Ray’, and has a distinct global appeal that brings people together through the power of music.
