Celebrate Black History Month with Samone Hicks, soprano, and Rose Grace, pianist.
The title is: “Songs of Hope and Inspiration”. The program will include Art Song Cycles by Black composers, including Nkeiru Okoye, Undine Smith Moore, Florence Price, Adolphus Hailstork, and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor.
The the program consists of beautiful and powerful songs and rarely performed, especially as complete song cycles.
