Month of Jazz / Live at Timucua: Get ready for an electrifying jazz concert celebrating Sam Rivers’ legacy as part of Month of Jazz Festival – live at Timucua. For 25 years, Doug Mathews laid down the groove as bassist for the incomparable Sam Rivers. As a member of the RivBea Orchestra, Sam’s illustrious big band, Doug honed his craft alongside jazz legends. In celebration of what would have been Sam’s 100th birthday, Doug has brought together a dynamic ensemble of original members and eager young talents. The Rejuvenation Orchestra rehearses at Timucua on every first Sunday of the month, and now they hit the stage for an unforgettable performance just for you. Don’t miss out on this special event!
