Baroque and Beyond
A Performing Arts Matter group, the Baroque Chamber Orchestra starts with CPE Bach in the Baroque, then strays into the Beyond with Chilean composer Alfonso Leng, finishing strong with Papa Haydn’s “The Bear”.
Made of community members with a passion for music, the Baroque Chamber Orchestra brings string players from the Maitland Symphony Orchestra together under the direction of Dr. Alvaro Gomez to put the best works of the Baroque period on today’s stage.
