The Duane Eubanks Quintet delivers a straight-ahead, post-hard bop style of original jazz compositions. Eubanks is a jazz trumpeter, composer, arranger, and producer whose gritty soul and passion emphatically captures his Philadelphia roots. He studied jazz in master classes at Temple University with the legendary Dr. Billy Taylor and with Wynton Marsalis. He has also crossed over from jazz to play and record with renowned artists such as Alicia Keys, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, and Wu-Tang Clan.
