UCF School of Visual Arts and Design Film Showcase

UCF School of Visual Arts and Design Film Showcase

Each year the Film Program at the UCF School of Visual Arts and Design hosts the Fall Showcase – A retrospective of short films that expose viewers to the groundbreaking world of independent, micro-process cinema. Some of the finest examples from the previous year’s crop of student films are brought together for a single night of celebration.

Graduates of the UCF Film Department have appeared on the Oscars stage and worked on some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters. Join us for a short film retrospective that will expose the Timucua audience to the groundbreaking world of independent, micro-process cinema, created by the next generation of the motion picture arts right here in our community. Presenting work from comedy to drama to experimental, student filmmakers will be in the house to talk about their art and answer questions.
