Resident Artist November 2021

Visual artist Jason Hunt returns to Timucua for November 2021!

Jason Hunt creates artwork with a graphite pencil. He has also worked with both oil and acrylic paint for over 20 years. “The simplicity of a pencil helps me to capture and express life’s wide range of complex emotions. A simple pencil can explore endless shades of gray found between black and white. Most truth lies in the gray where we experience bits of pleasure & traces of pain,” Hunt says about his art.

Hunt continues saying, “In my drawings I strive to show how as humans, we are more alike than different. My goal is to portray life’s personal, quiet, and universal moments in time. In fact, the title of my collection is ‘Moments in Time’.”
