Hot Fundraising in the Summertime

Art and music belong to everyone.

Change is a constant. Over the past 19 years, Timucua has grown from a cozy, neighborhood house-concert series with the Glazer children opening every show, to a destination venue for acclaimed artists and audience members from around the world. A lot has changed, but one thing has stayed the same: our values.

Timucua was founded on the belief that the arts belong to everyone. To that end, we keep admission to our Sunday night Open House concerts donation-based. We keep our programming diverse (where else can you see 100 shows as varied as this?), and we’ve added Saturday afternoon concerts so that more families with young children can enjoy the Timucua experience.

One of the biggest changes to Timucua is that for 16 years, founders Benoit and Elaine paid for nearly everything themselves. Elaine used to even cook the food enjoyed on Sunday nights. Now, Timucua is supported by our generous community of members (that’s you!), our growing group of amazing volunteers, our small business sponsors, and additional funding from Orange County, United Arts, and the State of Florida.

It takes all of our support to deliver the phenomenal concerts, fascinating visual art, and life-changing educational programming to Central Florida and the world. If you love experiencing concerts and plays in the intimate setting of Timucua, please donate toward our Summer fundraising goal! We are so close and every dollar helps.

Donate by July 1st and your donation will be matched dollar for dollar.
