Tenor Sungwon Jin was born in Seoul, South Korea. He graduated at Würzburg, Hamburg, Berlin, Seoul National University Music College. He is currently a professor, chair of voice department at Gachon University, Republic of Korea. He performed 15 times of solo recital internationally in Germany, Japan, and Korea. He also performed over 20 roles of Opera as Duca from Rigoletto, as Rodolfo from La Bohéme, as Nemorino from L’eliair d’amore, as Tamino from Die Zauberflöte, etc. He also sang over 30 works of Oratorio as a solist in messia, in Elias, in 9th Sympony, in Requiem, in Stabat mater, Die Schöpfung, etc. He won the Singing International Competition “Maria Calas” in Greece, “Mendelssohn” in Frankfurt, “Schubert” in Osaka, etc.
