Keegan Matthews

Keegan Matthews (of Leisure Chief) is an Orlando, FL native who draws heavily from John Coltrane’s approach to modal harmony, Weather Report’s spontaneous attitude, and Vektroid’s vaporwave textures.
Later in 2023, Keegan will be releasing their debut album featuring YouTube sensation Juna Serita – a virtuosic electric bassist from Tokyo, Japan. And on drums, Rion Smith (Sam Rivers Rivbea Orchestra, ShakNasti, Blue Man Group).
Keegan’s trio will be performing newly written and arranged original music along with the music of Herbie Hancock, Flying Lotus, and many more!
