Timucua and the University Club of Winter Park present the world premiere of David Bjella and Hannah Sun’s program of Beethoven and Rachmaninoff sonatas. Both massive works, this is a very intense program of Romantic music that will leave you breathless.

David Bjella is professor of cello at the University of Central Florida School of Performing Arts in Orlando. Professor Bjella is one of the featured IRIS musicians for the Naxos-released CD, “Music of Stephen Hartke”, which was chosen by the New York Times as a Top Ten Classical Recording.

Australian-American pianist Hannah Sun is a soloist, chamber musician, teacher, and composer, connecting with diverse audiences through interdisciplinary forms. She is currently Adjunct Professor at Stetson University, teaching Functional Keyboard and Applied Piano.
