The “FlamencOpera Ladino Project explores the fusion of passionate flamenco rhythms, dancing, and singing with the ancient Ladino melodies, Lyrical singing, and the Hispanic art song repertoire.
Puerto Rican Soprano Arleen Ramírez is an opera singer whose versatility has allowed her to crossover from lyrical singing to other music genres, such as flamenco, hindustani music, jazz, and musical theatre, among others. With a musical trajectory of over 20 years, she is an active Central Florida performer who has performed with companies, such as Opera Orlando, Light Opera Orlando, Flamenco del Sur, Spanish Lyric Theatre Tampa, and several others. Arleen has nurtured the flamenco art for over a decade having the opportunity to perform with important flamenco exponents in Puerto Rico and USA. Also, featuring important flamenco musicians and dancers, you will experience the fusion of dance, history, and music in a way that will take your breath away!
